Safari Iteniraries

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Pick up from your hotel at 7:30am, and head for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Just a few kilometers from Nairobi you’ll be able to have a view of the great rift valley, where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley.

Later continue driving through Longonot and Suswa and on to the Western walls before arriving in time for lunch. After lunch and relaxation proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve where you will be on the look for the big five; Elephants, Lions, Buffalo, Leopards and Rhino.

Early morning game drive and return for breakfast. After breakfast spend the entire day viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty seated at the banks of Mara river. During the stay you will also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Take pre breakfast then game drives then return to the camp for breakfast ,exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha.There will be a stop to view the great rift valley scenery as you proceed to Naivasha you will arrive time for lunch, Check in at Sopa Lodge Naivasha and have lunch, Later in the afternoon game drive with a visit to Hells Gate National Park which allows Hiking, Bicycling, Rock climbing and photography of wildlife and a visit to geothermal power plant.

Take a morning boat ride then drive to Amboseli national park with packed lunches. Arriving with game drive proceeding to your lodge Oltukai lodge. Check in to your lodge, have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive at the park.

Pre-morning game viewing, and drive to the Namanga Border, where you will be met by your Tanzania guide who will drive you to Lake Manyara. We arrive at our Lake Manyara camp in time for lunch. Later, we head into the park for game viewing. This soda ash lake consists of huge flocks of pink flamingos, giving a breathtaking scenery. The park is also famously known for its tree-climbing lions, big number of elephants, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons and the lesser known wildlife like the dik-diks, and the klipspringer.

After our breakfast, we head to Serengeti via the Ol Duvai Gorge Museum, where the early man appeared, a million years ago. Upon arrival, we will head to the Serengeti National Park, which is widely known for the greatest wildlife spectacle, the great migration of wildebeest. The Plains are also home to resident population of elephants, cheetahs, lions, giraffes and birds.

Morning and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid afternoon .The term ‘serengeti’ means endless plains in maasai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like, leopards, hyena and cheetah.

This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and kenya’s maasai mara game reserve. Eagles, Flamingos, duck, geese, vultures are among the birds that can be seen in the park.

After breakfast, Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.

After breakfast depart for Tarangire National park, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Arrive in time for lunch after lunch, afternoon spent game viewing in the park.

Early morning game drive later return to your lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast check out with a short game drive en-route off Tarangire National Park and drive to Arusha, drop off at your respective hotel or Airport
